"No!" Quinn said. He ran over towards Makee. Lord Mithrill stepped into his way. Quinn ran into him and fell back, while Mithrill didn't move at all. He stood there and laughed.
Kei had ran towards Sun. He pulled out a sword of his own. When he first pulled it out, it was merely the handle of the sword. In seconds, a black energy blade - which was as black as it could get, totally absent of any light - burst out from it.
Sun's sword started to glow a bright yellow. Kei had swung his sword high. Sun blocked it. There was a bright flash of light. Both swords seemed to be enveloping eachother - in a fight to take over the other sword. Both men looked at their swords in amazement, while still trying to push the other man off his feet.
Quinn had gotten to his feet. His sword was knocked across the courtyard, far from his reach. He looked at Mithrill and growled. "Your plans stop now," Quinn said, his bangs over his eyes, his mouth in a frown of anger.
"Oh my, Will's little mentor is as spunky as he is," Mithrill laughed. "I did enjoy your little light show earlier on. I am entrigued on how you two looked so much alike when you did it."
Quinn just stood there, staring straight at Mithrill's eyes. Mithrill laughed again. Quinn could not see that Mithrill's hand, which was behind his back, was glowing with energy. Mithrill quickly thrust out that hand and shot Quinn with a gigantic blast of lightning. Quinn flew from the blast of the lightning. He flipped and landed on his feet. He looked up from his crouched position, and growled. He was hurt, but tried not to show it. Mithrill laughed again. He then took a few steps back and looked at Makee. He mentally unstrapped her, and picked her up into the air. He moved her close to Hope, who immediatly attached the Sealing Crystal to Makee's chest.
Quinn stood up, flinching. His leg was hurt. He growled again, and strated towards Hope, starting to run.
"All we need now is the power to seal it in!" Mithrill said, setting his ground. His hand started to glow, and spurt out little lightning bolts.
Meanwhile, Sun and Kei were still trying to wint he other over. Kei finally kicked Sun backwards, sending him to the ground. Sun quickly got up. Kei had swung his sword again. Sun punched Kei in his stomach, making him drop his sword. He jumped up, and kicked Kei in the stomach, sending him onto his back. He saw a bright flash int he corner of his eye, and looked over. He saw Quinn land ont he ground. He looked over and saw Mithrill release Makee and send her to Hope.
"Wha... no!" He grabbed his sword and started towards Mithrill. Kei got up and grabbed his armor from the back, punching him. Sun sent his elbow back into Kei's stomach. Kei bent over. Sun hit him in the back of his head with the end of his sword's handle. He looked back and saw Quinn start running towards Makee and Hope.
"You will not get away with this!" Quinn yelled. Even though he had a limp, he still ran as fast as he could.
Suddenly, another bright flash of light came from the opposite side of where Quinn was running from. A young girl walked out from the blue portal that had formed. She looked foreward and yelled out, her eyes widening. "Daddy? what are you-"
She was cut short by a loud blast of electricity. It came from Mithrill. he had shot up his pent up energy in a gigantic spark of lightning straight at Makee. Quinn was running as fast as he could, and her jumped in front of Makee. The young girls screamed, watching from where she landed. Quinn was hit by the lightning bolt, and flew back, knocking into Makee, sending her to the ground, flying over Hope's head, and into the courtyard wall.
"Daddy!!" The young girl yelled out and ran towards him, sliding to his side.
"You fool!" Mithrill yelled. "Hope! We have failed! We must leave! Kill the girls I will take the young one!"
"What?! No!!!" Sun yelled, running towards them. Suddenly, he was hit from behind. Kei had rested the whole time, and he was standing behind Sun.
"You lose this time, boy! Hahaha!" Kei said. He ran over and jumped on Sun, tying him up in an energy rope.
"You-"
"Uh-uh, no insults, just look," Kei said, lifting up Sun's head. He pointed it straight at Hope who had her staff raised at one of the girls. "No, Hope, start with the one with the long blond hair on the right!"
"I see," She said, and pointed her staff straight at Mina. Hope smiled, seeing Mina's eyes widen. "Oh don't worry girl, your death will be swift and painless. For you at least," Hope smirked. The end of her staff started to form a large ball of black aura. Mina screamed out.
"No!!!!" Sun yelled out, trying to break from his bonds. The ball kept growing untill it was the size of her. She giggled evily and started chanting.
"Mesa ha no riké!" From out of the aura ball came a large beam. It blasted out, towards Mina. The tip of it sharpened and pushed through Mina's chest, sending her blood back against the wall. She let out a slight scream, looking over at Sun before hunching over, the life escaping her.
"NOOOO!" Sun yelled out. The blast hadn't stopped at Mina, it was heading towards the next girl. Sun was outraged. His whole body started to glow the same yellow as his sword before. He sent out a blast from the glow, sending Kei flying. The bonds were broken, and he stood up. His eyes were glowing white. He picked up his sword. It started to glow the same color he was.
"This stops NOW!" Sun yelled. The Moon Sword flashed three times, and a sheild formed over each one of the remaining girls. They were all awake now, and were screaming and scared. The beam shot at the next girl, and bounced off the sheild, blasting into a wall, dissapearing.
"Wh-What?! No! How could that have happened?!" Hope yelled out, almost dropping her staff.
Sun's eyes now were very bright, and anyone that looked straight into his eyes were almost blinded. Hope looked over and was stricken by fear. Immediatly she opened a portal behind her, and fall back into it, sending herself fully back into her world.
Sun ran over to Mina, who had now fallen off of her post. He slid to her side, and held her lifeless body in his arms. He screamed out, and it echoed in the courtyard.
Across the yard, the young girl sat there, holding the hurt Quinn in her arms. Makee had awoken, and crawled over next to them, still wondering what was happening. She looked over and her eyes widened when she saw Sun holding the lifeless body of Mina.
Sun was radiating the yellow glow again, and he slowly stood. He turned his head to the side and looked behind him. Lord Mithrill was standing there, almost cowering. Sun growled and turned around, facing Mithrill. Sun's sword seemed to be picked up by the glow around him, and it levitated to him. He grabbed it, and looked Mithrill straight in the eye.
"Your plan has failed. Today marks the day of your end, for you will now pay for this crime that has just been commited."
Sun started walking towards Mithrill. The glow around his body started spurting, much like fire spurts into the air off a log of wood. Mithrill started backing up. Soon he was backed into a corner, with nowhere to go. Sun kept walking towards him.
"Sun Fire Power!" Sun said. The glow around him flared up like a blazing fire. It crackled and made the sound of a small explosion. Everyone looked over and sheilded their eyes. Sun stopped, and grasped his sword infront of him with both his hands. His feet were spread apart, and his sword pointing straight towards Mithrill.
"No! Kei! Kei, where are you?!" Mithrill looked around frantically. He finally saw Kei standing far from them, bent over, and holding his stomach. "Kei! I command you to attack! NOOOOWW!" Mithrill yelled at Kei frantically.
Kei looked directly at Mithrill and laughed. "I don't think so, Lord Mithrill," Kei said, lifting his arm, and pointing the back of it at Mithrill. He pressed a button and dissapeared, back to their base. He had betrayed Mithrill, and was taunting him.
"NO!!! You fool! I will get out of here and kill you!!" Mithrill went for his teleporter, but it blew the instant he tried to use it. The electricity coming from Sun had shorted it out, and he was now stuck in this middle-earth.
"It is time you die, Mithrill," Sun said. The bright, yellow aura around Sun blasted out again, and then stopped. The yellow aura was sucked to his sword. The Moon Sword started to vibrate in his hands. At the tip of the blade, a bright, star like light was forming. Mithrill's eyes widened and he looked around frantically for a way to get away. It was too late for him though. Sun immediatly sent the aura blasting out of his sword, straight at Mithrill. The beam blasted through him, sedning him against the wall. Sun looked straight into his pain filled eyes.
"An eye for an eye, Mithrill." The blast dissapeared, and the yellow aura dissapeared. Sun turned his back as Mithrill fell to the ground, slowly dieing.
Sun walked back over to Mina. He dropped to his knees next to her, holding her head to his chest. She was cold to his touch. He set her down slowly, and finally looked over at where Quinn was lying. He, for the first time, saw the young girl. He noticed Makee was there, looking down at Makee, like the young girl. He got up and walked over, kneeling next to Quinn.
"Ahh, young one..." Quinn said, straining. "Young Will, things have gone as well as the new circumstances could have allowed."
"Will...?" Makee asked, more to herself, and low enough so noone really heard.
"Makee is safe, as are you," Quinn said. Then he turned his head towards the young girl. "My daughter," he said with a smile. "Cammy, I sent you here a year later because I knew that we would have the fateful conflict that would set the pace for you mother to die. I have changed those things here."
"B-but... you... why didn't you let me come to the time you came, father? I could have helped you. You wouldn't have had to get hurt!" Cammy said, her eyes tearing up.
"Shhh, hon," Quinn said, putting his finger to her lip. "The reason is because this was the best way for everything to play out." She bent over him and kissed his forehead. "Please..." He said, as he was getting weaker, "It is time Will knew who I am. Tell him and the other Senshi, including Makee."
Cammy looked up at Makee, and her eyes widened. She had never really looked Makee over all the time she had been there. "M.. m.."
"Not yet... not until the others are with them. Now, it is my... my time..." Quinn closed his eyes and took the last few breaths of his life.
Suddenly, all around them started to fade away. For a short time, there was nothing but darkness all around them. They heard foot steps in the distance. They grew louder, and closer. The three of them lookeed up at saw Sailor Pluto walking towards them, her time key in hand.
"Good job young ones," She said, a half smile on her face. She looked down at Quinn and shook her head, closing her eyes in remorse. "Young Cammy, your father i- err was a noble man. His death will be remembered." She looked at Makee and smiled. She held her time staff upwards, and it flashed three times with a bright light. When they regained their sight, they saw they were back in the streets below the tower. The black clouds dispursed themselves away from the tower, and all over Japan. There was a slight rain falling. Pluto looked around. There were still people there, and they all started to gather around. She looked into the sky, as if thinking, and they all dissapeared in a blink of an eye.
They reappeared in Adrien Tushima's cave. All the Senshi were gathered around, along with Tuxedo Mask - who had not been around for the whole ordeal. When they saw Quinn on the groud, they all gasped. Cammy was still by his side, crying. Will was bent down by both of them, with his hand on her shoulder. Makee was still on her legs by all three of them, for she did not have the power to stand yet.
Suddenly, Jupiter screamed. "Mina!!!!!" She yelled. She had transformed out of her Sailor suit, and turned into Mina again. She was laying behind them all, still lifeless. Jupiter - along with the others - transformed into her civilian self, and ran to her side. She tried to wake her, but when she moved Mina, she noticed the hole in her chest. "Oh no.... no!" She was shaking. The others had immediatly gathered around, and everyone started to cry.
Sun, changing back to Will, stood up. He looked over, his expression that of complete sadness. Adrien walked over and put her hand on his shoulder, consoling him.
"Not to be cold, but please, everyone gather around the table," Pluto said, walking towards Adrien's tactical table.
"I'll be back. I am taking her into the other room," Will said, walking towards Mina. "Cammy, bring Quinn too," He said to Cammy, picking Mina up. Cammy tried to pick her father, Quinn up. Tuxedo Mask, who went along with the others and transformed back into Darien, ran over to help. The three brought their two wounded into one of the other rooms, and came back shortly. Makee had been set in a chair, slowly recovering her strength. Pluto was sitting next to her. The others were sitting around also. Everyone was silent. Cammy stayed very close to Will, and sat int he chair next to him. To the others it seemed a little weird, but they decided it was because they both were close to Quinn.
"Well, now that everyone is here we can start," Pluto said.
"'Scuse me, but..." Makee said," What are you saying? I can't speak Japanese."
"Oh yes my child. I am sorry," Pluto said. She put her hand on Makee's forehead and a small flash came from her hand. Makee's eyes widened. "Now, we will all go through everything that has happened, and the information about our two new friends."
Makee was stunned. She understood every word. What was even more stunning to her was the fact of the people around her. There sat the Sailor Senshi of Japan, in their civilian forms. She had heard news of them, especially when Warior Sun had made his fame in the USA. Speaking of Warior Sun, he was there too. 'My... They are one in the same. Will and Warior Sun...'.
"Makee!" Pluto said. Makee snapped back into the conversation. "Now, my young one. If you haven't noticed by now..." Sailor Pluto transformed herself into her civilian form, Setsuna. Makee, for the first time, realised it was her.
"Se.. Setsuna? Oh my!" Makee said, surprised again.
"We shall touch on you and all that matters with you later, my young one. Now, we must hear from the young Cammy. Your father had some last words to you, did he not?"
"Yes, he did," Cammy said after a moment of silence. Will put his hand on hers and squeesed. This sent her mood up, and her face lightened a little. "He told me to tell you what you have been asking about all this time, and to tell you who I am."
